Questions about partnership filing
For clients whose books close in January, K-1s go out with the filing well before March 15. If we need an extension, we still issue estimated K-1 figures so partners can plan.
The late-filing penalty is charged per partner per month, so it adds up quickly. We file an extension on your behalf as a matter of course to protect against it.
